DCS: Black Shark
From VaafWiki
DCS: Black Shark is the first title in a new Eagle Dynamics and The Fighter Collection simulation series: Digital Combat Simulator (DCS). It is a simulation of the Ka-50 - a single-seated Russian attack helicopter. Following Eagle Dynamics' tradition of excellence, Black Shark brings an even more realistic simulation experience than its predecessor Flaming Cliffs. With unprecedented levels of realism, Black Shark features high-fidelity flight dynamics, instruments modeling, avionics systems, and weapon systems.NOTE: This page is in heavy flux right now and will be re-organised (with subpages) when most of the info is in.

Caution
The DCS:BS configuration files allow significant tweaking. However, altering configuration settings may result in unintended consequences and negatively impact the simulation to the point of rendering it unusable. Any such alterations will be done at your own risk and you should back-up any files you intend to alter. Do not use the Windows Notepad to edit DCS configuration files (it doesn't handle UTF-8 coding properly all the time). We recommend using Notepad++ or other similar software.
