The Nodong Missile Test Centre in North Korea, site of the recent Taepodong-2 ICBM launches, was flattened in a raid on Friday night by pilots of the VAAF.
The success of the mission comes as a relief to senior VAAF officers, as an earlier attempt at the mission a week ago failed with the loss of four aircraft after a mid-air collision in cloud.
Satellite imagery shows the Missile Center control buildings and assembly plant in ruins. It is expected that this will seriously impair North Korea's ability to launch Taepodong-2 ICBMs for the forseeable future...
