Hello all,

I have not been around here a lot lately, but something just occurred to me.

I have started this TAFE course in digital media, and one of our assignments is to create a flash animation for a webpage.

I was racking my brains trying to think of what webpage I could do it for (it doesnt actually need to be published, it's just a concept), and then VAAF occurred to me.

So is it ok with you guys if I make an animation based on VAAF? No one except the teacher need see it, but you never know, if you like it you can always post it up here, although being my first flash project, I am not overly confident in my abilty to make something that good, but we will see...

Of course mate, I don't think that a member really needs to ask permission for this kind of thing as I couldn't imagine anyone getting upset by it.

Let us see it when you're finished - it's probably better than anything that I could do.

Ok,

Well, this was supposed to be due on Thursday, so I was up late the night before and in early trying to finish it, now I find we have been given three more weeks.

Anyway, I finished it, though I could probably polish it some more with the extra time.

So here is the final draft, let me know what you think.

(Easiest way is just to open the html file, you need to keep it in the same folder as the other two though).

One note, just incase you think of adding it live to the website, all the sound material is royalty free, however the first two screenshots I used were taken from SimHq and another random page, so If you like it, then I will get some screenshots with no copyrights and add them in.\

Let me know of any changes that you would like, as I will have the time to work on it now. And also, the final one will not be looping, nothing worse than a looping Flash Animation, especially with sound.

Thanks Kif,

Any suggestions or things you would change?

Yeah, Flash is a bugger, the basics of it are not hard, its just that the program is so damn user unfreindly, it's crazy.

Course is very cool indeed, it's a breath of fresh air to be able to create something you want to as an assignment... Smiley
