You may also want to consider a couple of later time sessions - just in case anyone has after work commitments or are over west.
(8pm AEST is 5pm perth time, and those of us over here are still at work then.)

I'm afraid I got over formation flying 3 or so years ago - plus not liking the western planes doesnt help - otherwise Id have joined ya.

Tonka,

We plan on creating a mod which replaces one of two western aircraft in LockOn. Realistically we can create what ever aircraft we want! Sorry to hear that you got over formation flying, but if at any stage you change your mind let us know.

my biggest problem also is working hrs i typically work 12-14 hr days right now and will continue to do so for a while as last year was such a bad year ,and also the fact that i was burnt with teds team , put in 2hrs a night for a few weeks helping set things up and  and helping create the sounds and beta testing the pc9 mod much to the aggravation of my wife and son  plus the fact that i was that much more tired from not getting to bed early only to have it all come to a screaming halt when things were starting to take off ,and now for some unknown reason no one is communicating , mate the best way  to-start is keep it lo key ,dont tell every one they need to dedicate 10 hrs a week right from the start if its not fun to start with then people don't come into the passion that you have be realistic like teds team was and use the next twelve months to train build a great team and then  get the commitment going , i know its frustrating for you as you are focused and have  a huge passion for this but just like any business venture it will not take off over night and you will have to go through a few people to get the team finalized but keep the main reason you are doing this alive , because it is fun ,and yes it takes dedication but that will come with time , the two of you are used to flying with each other and are obviously great pilots but the majority of those that wanting are going to be starting from scratch , they may be great pilots but that all goes to hell in a heart beat when some one is 5 feet of your left wing tip, finally it is very easy for teh boss to have huge passion and focus ,but if he pushes his team tyo hard too soon then they will suffer from burn out and then its not fun and the whole reason we do this for is because we want to have a release from our real life and enjoy our passion of aviation , come across too strong from the get go  and some one who has the passion but limited ability or time right now will be scared shitless of joining  i will do what ever i can in the wings for now but keep your time line realistic  make it fun and then you will find the commited pilots  message me hte ip for training and i will make the effort to be there at least one night during the week  and help any way i can

iceaxe, they are all great points indeed.

Shifty, I can see and totally agree with your reason for asking for dedicated people, but even those like me who have longed to be part of a local team and really welcome it happening can be scared off by too much commitment, because frankly I dont know what might happen tomorrow.

I might move, I might get a new job that requires me to commute 2hrs each way to the city who knows, so its good just to sus out some people who are at least half interested, and if the commitment is not there, then get rid of them Wink

On a positive note, I just decided on a whim last week to move in with my folks as I didnt like where I was living. Soooo that means I now have fast and reliable broadband, would really love to join you guys in the skies some time, even if we just pracitse in F15s for a while, I would be totally happy with that.

Please let me know the details for when and where if that's ok.

Hey guys,

Sorry i haven't been around lately & not been able to reply to your posts. A family member passed away yesturday, previous circumstances prior to his death has kept me away from a computer therefore i have not been able to be online. If you guys are still interested, i am more than happy to book a date and time for us to go flying!

Kind regards, Mick
