The Academy has voted and the bribes have been tallied (bunch of cheapskates).
The results for this year's VAAF film competition are as follows:

Best Film:
Envy Eli  "Mosquito"

Best Editing: After all preferences counted - dead tie!
Envy Eli  "Mosquito"
Kif  "Black Shark Promo"

Best Visuals:
Envy Eli  "Mosquito"

Best Special Effects: The primary vote was a landslide
Kif  "Black Shark Promo"
(Thomo "And More" tie - Thommo received almost all of the 2nd pref votes)

Best Advert:
Kif  "Black Shark Promo"
(Scatter "Apocalypse When" tie)

Best Promotional Film: This went to preferences so I've listed both
Scatter  "Apocalypse When"
Runner up - Envy Eli "Mosquito"

Best Story:  This went to preferences so I've listed both
Thommo  "And More" 
Runner up - Kif  "Black Shark Promo"

And finally, the award of awards, the one you've all been waiting for, and it's a dark horse.
Biggest Douche:
Ruprecht! Yes, it's true. This was also by a landslide and it's unprecedented for a non-entrant to win any category.

Well done Envy Eli and the other winners. Specially thought the slow-mo flares bit in your video Envy Eli was uber cool.
